April 10, 2013 – Axiomtek introduces P1177S-871 Touch Panel Computer. The workstation-level industrial panel computer has a 17-inch SXGA TFT LCD display and dual display interface. This ruggedized system supports 3rd Generation Intel Core i7/ i5/ i3/ Celeron processors in LGA1155 socket with Intel Q77 Express chipset.
This all-in-one industrial-grade touch panel PC has a fashionable mechanism design, yet still provides protection with aluminum housing and IP65/NEMA 4 sealing. The user-friendly design with only 3 screws on its back chassis enables users to quickly remove it and maintain & install with ease. It supports DVI and HDMI simultaneously and features the use of dual display devices for increasing the area available for programs running on a single computer system. It not only increases larger screen viewing but also improves the productivity.
It also supports WLAN module antenna (WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (optional) for wireless network connectivity up to 150Mbps data rate. By just plugging in the WLAN module, users can have instant access to wireless LAN/GPRS/GSM/3G freely. To withstand harsh operating environments, the application ready panel system is made with a robust mechanical design and has an IP65/NEMA 4 water/dust-proof protection to prevent the system from outside damage.
P1177S-871 includes interfaces of DVI-I, HDMI, four COM (3 x RS-232, 1 x RS-232/422/485), four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, audio (Mic-out & Mic-in).
It has two DDR3 SO-DIMM sockets maximum up to 16 GB and one 3.5” or two 2.5” SATA HDD drive bay. Furthermore, this unit can be installed using panel mount, wall mount, VESA arm and desktop stand depending on the application need. The slim industrial panel computer with dual view support, the P1177S-871, is available for shipping in late April 2013.
