September 15, 2011 - Axiomtek announces rBOX101 DIN-rail fanless ruggedized embedded system with extra low power Intel Atom processors Z510PT (1.1 GHz) and Z520PT (1.33 GHz) with Intel US15WPT chipset. To withstand extreme range of working temperatures, this durable unit can perform in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.
To fulfill different application needs, the rBOX101 comes with complete expandability, including up to six isolated COM ports (rBOX101-6COM)/four isolated COM ports (rBOX101-4COM), two isolated Ethernet ports, one isolated DIO (rBOX101-6COM), two USB 2.0 ports, one VGA output and one CompactFlash socket for great data communication & expansion capability. The robust DIN-rail system has a compact form factor and IP30 housing, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications such as power plant automation, facility monitoring systems, intelligent transportation systems and much more.
Isolated Port Design
To prevent ESD and over-voltage, this compact-size unit is equipped with isolated RS-232/422/485 ports, isolated Ethernet ports and isolated DIO port for offering magnetic isolation protection.
Safety & EMI Compliance
The IP30-rated rBOX101 meets Safety Agency requirements and has passed heavy industrial EMI/EMS testing to provide high operational reliability and stability.
Intelligent AXView & SNMP V1/V2c
The rBOX101 features SNMP V1/V2c support for secured network management. To streamline implementation of management applications, Axiomtek has launched exclusive “AXView” monitoring software package for customers to build their own management systems easily and quickly. Axiomtek AXView also contains a variety of easy-to-use management utilities, agent services and libraries.

rBOX101’s front accessible I/O cabling is convenient for wiring and maintenance. In addition, it comes equipped with two power paths and 12 - 48VDC power input with a terminal block. Pre-installed with Linux, Windows CE 6.0 or Windows XP Embedded, the rBOX101 provides programmers with a friendly environment for developing application software at a lower cost. To fit various application requirements, the rBOX101 can be DIN-rail mounted.
