The Intel Core-based SDM500L is optimized for digital signage, interactive flat panel displays, interactive touch computers, video walls, etc.

June 11, 2019 - Axiomtek introduced the SDM500L, a signage computer module with the Intel Smart Display Module Large (Intel SDM-L) architecture, supporting Intel AMT 12 and Intel vPro technology. The SDM500L is powered by the onboard 8th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processor (Whiskey Lake U) with the Intel Generation 9 HD Graphics chipset. The digital signage module measures 175 x 100 mm and a maximum z-height of 1.6 mm. The Intel Core-based SDM500L is optimized for digital signage, interactive flat panel displays, interactive touch computers, video walls, etc.

The SDM500L features two 260-pin DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM slots for up to 32GB of memory. The Intel SDM Large (Intel SDM-L) module comes with one M.2 Key E slot for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module.

Additionally, one M.2 Key M and one M.2 Key B slots are available for storage. The smart signage module has four USB 3.0 ports, one USB type C port, one GbE LAN port with Intel Ethernet Connection i219 featuring Wake-on-LAN function, and one HD codec audio.

Moreover, the SDM-L signage device supports up to three independent 4K displays via DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0. It supports Intel Active Management Technology 12 (Intel AMT 12) as well as Intel vPro technology (Intel Core i5 and i7) for remote management and monitoring.
