September 10, 2012 - Axiomtek released CEM100, a low-power COM Express Type 2 module powered by either a single core AMD G-Series APU T40R at 1.0GHz or the dual core T56N at 1.65 GHz paired with the A55E FCH chipset.
The platform comes with two DDR3 1066 MHz SO-DIMM slots for up to 8 GB of system memory and four SATA ports with RAID 0, 1, 10, 5. Integrated with Radeon HD 6250/6320 graphics controller with support for DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0, the CEM100 provides outstanding visual experience and features two DDI, 18/24-bit single/dual channel LVDS and VGA display interfaces.
Moreover, this small form factor embedded board also provides four 32-bit PCI plus eight PCIe x1 Gen 2.0 slots for I/O expansion. For applications looking for more security protection, TPM 1.2 is also integrated into this board.
Integrated with the baseboard, the CEM100 has the capability of eight Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, AC’97/HD Audio, four SATA-600, one Gigabit LAN, LPC interface, SPI, PATA-100 IDE, eight lanes of PCIe, and four PCI expansions. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly. Additionally, the CEM100 supports operation system like Windows 7, Windows XP embedded and Linux.
