It offers alternatives of low voltage Intel Pentium M and ultra low voltage Intel Celeron M processors as well. The EP812 features a DVI-I display function which is a popular display solution for both DVI and CRT signal output for dual external display application such as Digital Signage Appliance (DSA). For wireless terminal applications, it supports Mini PCI Type III expansion for off-the-shelf modules in the market. This embedded board is particularly suitable for multimedia solution which requires more effective computing power; such as home advertisements, public information, and entertainment and so on. EPIC standard allows PC-style connectors for I/O’s instead of the pin-headers common on PC/104 designs, and it also tends to increase reliability, particularly in environments that are prone to extreme shock and vibration.
