March 21, 2006—Banner Engineering’s series of low-cost LED IP67-rated spot lights provide bright, off-axis illumination of small areas for product inspections. Spot lights connect directly to PresencePLUS® vision sensors and offer a choice of continuous or strobed operation using sensor software. Single, high-power LEDs deliver bright, even light, even if voltage fluctuates. The compact 30 mm barrel spot lights are ideal for confined locations or can be placed directly above an object to enhance the contrast of surface features in a variety of applications, including the following:
- Verification of print on glossy surfaces
- Illuminating parts in a washdown environment (rated IP67)
- Indicating hard to reach areas Spot lights are available with red, white, green or blue LEDs and deliver an adjustable illumination area.
PresencePLUS spot lights include a 2 m attached cable with threaded 3-pin Pico-style pigtail quick disconnect for direct connection to a P4 sensor or flying leads to connect to a 24V dc power source.
