June 12, 2024 - Basler AG , a leading supplier of image processing components for computer vision applications, has acquired 25.1 % of the shares in Roboception GmbH, Munich, as part of a strategic investment and capital increase. With its innovative hardware and software products, Roboception is a pioneer in the field of intelligent 3D sensor technology, providing key elements for flexible automation solutions. The two companies have been cooperating in sales since 2021 and have been working closely together on the development of 3D image processing solutions that enable robotic systems to reliably perceive and analyze their environment.
