- Mobility: Compact 2D and 3D vision technology with an optimized balance of size, weight and power consumption, combined with impressive cost-effectiveness — ideal for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
- System performance: High-speed and high-throughput demonstrations using the ace 2 10GigE camera and the racer 2 S trilinear color camera for high-quality inspections of moving materials.
Focus on innovation
Basler is introducing several technological firsts and innovations:
- Lens and lighting control: Control of lenses and/or lighting via a single camera I/O line and within a single SDK.
- Basler ace 2 10GigE: A 10GigE camera with a compact form factor of 29 mm × 29 mm, equipped with PoE and RDMA.
- Vision simulation: Virtual testing of camera, lens, and lighting setups, and generation of synthetic AI training data before deploying actual hardware.
- Agentic development: A concept for AI-assisted vision engineering that combines a vision simulation agent with a pylon coder agent.
