BelGAS adds stainless steel pressure regulators
Stainless steel versions of Type P95H, P98H and P627 regulators work in corrosive environments.

July 31, 201 - BelGAS announced stainless steel versions of Type P95H, Type P98H and Type P627 regulators for corrosive environments.

The stainless steel Type P95H is a direct operating pressure reducing regulator. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including air, steam, process gases, corrosive liquids, oil and gas. The regulators are available in three different spring ranges, with choice of either metal or elastomeric diaphragm; as well as various orifice seat materials. Type P95H gas pressure regulators offer rugged, corrosion-resistant construction, large flow capacities, ease of operation and set pressures, leak tight operation, and fully tapped unit vents. Their in-line maintenance capabilities also reduce equipment downtime.

Typical applications for the Type P95H include steam and corrosive gas injection; in-line gas, chemical and liquid control; chemical boilers; and process heaters.

Type P98H is a back pressure regulator and relief valve. It is designed to monitor upstream pressure and opens to relieve excess pressure increases above set point. As a Back Pressure Regulator, the Type P98H helps to ensure that upstream pressure is monitored and released; then downstream, when set point is exceeded. Its stainless steel version allows for enhanced corrosive media compatibility within pulp and paper; chemical boiler and process heater; water and wastewater systems; and steam injection applications.

Type P627 spring loaded, direct-operated, low and high gas pressure regulators feature a wide range of flow capacities. They feature durable powder-coated epoxy exterior, installation versatility, multi-position body and spring case configurations. In addition to its new stainless steel version, Type P627 regulators are alternatively available with an external pressure registration model (P627M) and NACE-compliant construction, as well as choice of body (aluminum, steel or LCC), bonnet, and diaphragm casings. P627 regulators support farm tap and city gas regulation, fuel gas, industrial plant air and gas regulation, gas gathering, and system pressure reduction, as well as traditional applications within oil, gas and petrochemical.
