Protected by IP65 protection on the front side, the display is equipped with 4x20 character resolution, 16 function keys, and 12 LEDs and is excellently suited for simple control and visualization tasks. B&R offers two variants of the PP15 which are differentiated by how the I/O points are organized. The first model provides 16 integrated digital inputs and outputs. Its inputs can partly double as counter and encoder inputs. The second variant is equipped with four analog inputs and outputs in addition to the eight original inputs and outputs.
The PP15 can access additional decentralized I/O points or drives over a CAN interface for applications which need more I/O.
