August 4, 2015 - Binder-USA introduces an SMT M12 connector. The surface mount technology receptacle is able to be soldered directly to the surface of the printed circuit board, offering better adaptation to a variety of applications and reducing assembly time.

SMT connectors offer optional housings in various heights, which allows for flexible installation and the insulated body is made of temperature resistant LCP. These panel mount versions are IP67 rated, protecting the panel from FOD and liquids.

“With applications becoming increasingly sophisticated, original equipment manufacturers are expected to provide products to time critical applications to meet the challenges in todays manufacturing world,” said Joe Amato, Director of Sales and Marketing at Binder-USA. “We’re excited about these new SMT receptacles in our M12 product line. New designs like this allow us to offer more advanced solutions that our customers are requesting.”
