Camarillo, CA – Binder-USA – July 24, 2007 - released a stainless steel version of the 713 series M12 field attachable connector. The stainless steel housing provides a reliable and rugged interface ideal for use in harsh environment applications, food processing equipment and any application requiring a robust, industry standard connection. All metal components in the new design are machined from stainless steel. Outer surfaces of the connector are smooth making it easy to wipe clean – an advantage for food processing applications. The connector features a protection rating of IP67 and IP69K testing is currently being performed.

The stainless steel version of our 713 series is available with 4 or 5 contacts and will accept a cable with an outer diameter of 6 to 8mm. A screw termination is standard and other termination styles are available. M12 molded cordsets with stainless steel lock nuts are also available in Binder’s 763 series product line. Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications.
