January 26, 2009 - Binder-USA extended its M8 field-attachable connectors with an option of solder termination for both metal and plastic versions. The connectors now include a full plastic contact body design. These Series 768 M8 connectors are ideal for automation sensor applications.All M8 connectors are available with 3 and 4 gold-plated contacts. When properly mated, the mated pair is IP67-rated, protecting the connection ingress of liquids and debris.
The cross wire section has been enlarged from 0.25mm² (AWG 24) to 0.34mm² (AWG 22) to accommodate cables with larger wire sizes. Shielding options are offered providing excellent protection from electromagnetic interference.
