April 4, 2012 - Binder-USA releases molded eight-pin cordsets that make it possible possible to transmit up to 8 signals from a connector that is only 9.7 mm in diameter. The M8 connectors are ideally suited for actuator or sensor applications in the automation industry. The cordsets have an open cable end with cables available in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyurethane (PUR), which have a cross-section of 0.25 mm² (24 AWG) and offered in standard 2-, 5- or 10-meter lengths.
Custom wire sizes, lengths and materials are available upon request. Each cordset has eight gold-plated contacts and have a rated current of 1.5 amps per contact and an overall rated voltage of 30 volts. All versions are IP 67 rated when fully mated to their connecting parts.
