March 10, 2007 - With the founding of its 20th subsidiary in Barcelona, B&R gains a foothold on the Iberian Peninsula. This increases B&R's presence to 140 offices in 55 countries. The new subsidiary will be headed by Ramon Diaz (33). Diaz has gained extensive experience in automation and drive technology in Germany and Spain.From the very beginning, Spanish B&R customers will benefit from a broad network of sales and technology support as a result of B&R's close cooperation with existing partners.
More than 25 automation experts with comprehensive market knowledge, years of experience in automation and detailed knowledge of B&R's products will be working in three regions to provide customers with high-quality support and to establish B&R as one of the largest automation companies on the Iberian Peninsula.
