Cleveland, OH— June 8, 2004 — Bud Industries Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has announced the availability of the DB Series of DIN Rail Mount Boxes suitable for a wide variety of industrial control and other applications. They are priced, sold, and packaged for sale in quantities from one to thousands, making them ideal both for large jobs or in-house prototyping. Suggested applications include relays, power supplies, connection boxes, and I/O controllers.
The DB series includes eight different sizes with ten to 30 contacts, in widths from 0.87 inches (22 mm) to 5.91 inches (150 mm). All of the boxes snap onto a standard DIN rail with two of them also being able to be screw-mounted directly to a panel. Two of the boxes have a choice of 12- or 24-tiered contacts, similar to a terminal block, while the remaining boxes have two in-line rows of contacts per box.
All boxes have internal card guides, and the front covers include an area for labels or decals. Special modifications are available by contacting the factory.The new boxes have durable ABS plastic housings with UL94V-0 flammability rating, and are equipped with positive screw type contacts that are insulated from one another. All contacts are made of tin-plated brass and are rated at 10 amps.
