January 13, 2009 -Calex announces the 8920 Series. The 8920-500-DC and the 8921-1250-DC are low cost solutions ideal for applications where single point, isolated thermocouple signal conditioning is required. The 8920-500-DC is for use with Type J thermocouples with a temperature range of 0°C to 500°C. The 8921-1250-DC is for use with Type K thermocouples with a temperature range of 0°C to 1250°C. Both models employ linearization and cold junction compensation as well as provide complete three-way signal isolation.
The input is isolated from the output and both are isolated from the supply voltage. All models are housed in a plastic case with a built in DIN Rail mounting foot.
The case dimensions are 4.3”L x 0.89”W x 2.9”H. All connections are made to easily accessible screw terminals.
The 8920 Series is backed by Calex’s five year warranty and is UL 508 and UL 1604 compliant. Pricing for the 8900 Series is $140.00/ea (100). Units are available from stock to 6 weeks.
