Buffalo Grove, IL – October, 2003 - Carlo Gavazzi has launched a complete family of rugged contactors and overloads for switching currents up to 900 Amps (600 HP @ 480 VAC). All contactors are available with a wide selection of coil voltages and come standard with a two year warranty and built-in auxiliary outputs. Interlock and wiring kits are available to turn 2 standard contactors into reversing contactors. CGT Series thermal overload relays integrally mount to CGC Series contactors and provide thermal overload protection with Class 10 trip characteristics.

More advanced motor protection available with CGE Series electronic (overload) motor protection relays and state-of-the-art CGD Series digital motor protection relays provide extended motor and systems monitoring protection in a panel mountable package and digital display. Also offered are enclosed starters with a choice of plastic or metal housing. Starters are available with or without a start and stop pushbutton.
