August 1, 2013 – Clark Solutions releases Boxer Series S Gas Diaphragm Pumps. Designed to function at temperatures to -20°C (-4°F), Boxer Series S Pumps are constructed with PPO housings and silicone diaphragms and valves. Models are available with a permanent magnet DC motor (4.5 or 6.5 VDC) or with a core-less motor (6, 9, 12, 18, or 24 VDC).

Boxer Series S Pumps’ maximum free flow for gases is 1.8 LPM, maximum vacuum is 300 mbar (225 mmHg), and maximum pressure is 7.25 PSI (500mBar).

Air/gas pumping typically consumes 18 mA for an air flow of 0.8 l/min at 4.5V. Potential applications for Boxer Series S Pumps include portable gas detectors, microfluidic dispensing systems, and other sampling devices. Boxer pumps can be mounted as a “push fit” into customer equipment.

The pump has been designed to fit tightly onto the crank-case lid. The lid in this case acts as a fitting accessory for the pump. Fitting the pump via the lid onto customer equipment allows users to remove or replace the pump without the need of tools. Just push the pump onto the lid and pull it out whenever desired.
