September 20 2017 – Quann, a Singaporean Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), and Claroty, an innovator in Operational Technology (OT) network protection, announced their partnership on an OT security solution that is tailored to address the cyber security challenges for the critical information infrastructure (CII) in Singapore.

The partnership aligns with the Singapore Government’s vision to create a secure Smart Nation by securing control systems, which form the backbone of most of the CII, such as communications, power, water and transport in Singapore.

Quann’s OT security solution, powered by Claroty, can dive deep into complex multi-vendor OT environments, get full visibility to all assets, traffic and legitimate behaviour, as well as uncover hidden issues.

Traditional IT security software often requires an “active” footprint on the network, which can disrupt operations. However, Quann’s OT security solution uses a passive-monitoring approach to safely inspect traffic without the risk of disruption to the availability and operations of OT systems. Apart from monitoring, this solution also generates actionable alerts which enable cyber security and plant teams to rapidly and efficiently respond to security threats and control remote access.
