January 14, 2014 - The Board of Directors at Clippard Instrument Laboratory announce the appointment of William L. Clippard, III as Chairman of the Board, Robert L. Clippard as Vice Chairman of the Board, and John Campbell as President, reporting to the board. Founded in 1941 by Leonard Clippard and incorporated in 1946, Clippard Instrument Laboratory has long been recognized as a world leader in manufacturing miniature pneumatic components and devices. Mr.
Clippard’s sons, William L. Clippard, III and Robert L. Clippard have provided the leadership of the company for the past 38 years. John Campbell brings extensive experience in running small to mid-size manufacturing companies and has managed all aspects of their business including sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing and distribution as well as key areas of finance, mergers and acquisitions. Through this process, there has been no change in the company ownership and no change in the day-to-day operation of the business.
The Board of Directors will continue in place and will work closely with John. The company employs a talented third generation of Clippard family members interested in the continued success and operation of the business. John will be an integral part of Clippard’s leadership mentoring process.
