CODESYS Group Stable Despite Economic Slowdown
The CODESYS Group is optimistic about 2025.

KEMPTEN, Germany - March 24, 2025 - 2024 was a challenging year for the entire automation industry. The CODESYS Group also felt the downturn. With a turnover of €41.2 million, the CODESYS manufacturer recorded a decline compared to the previous year.

Thanks to increasing sales in the CODESYS Store and in foreign business, however, it turned out to be comparatively moderate at 3.4%. The CODESYS Group is optimistic about 2025. Two innovations in particular are expected to boost business: In January, the CODESYS Virtual Safe Control SL received certification from TÜV Süd. The product is now available in the CODESYS Store–good news for anyone who needs a SIL3 safety control but wants to avoid special two-channel hardware.

The first version of CODESYS go! is scheduled to be released by the end of the year. This new development provides users with a platform-independent engineering tool for the first time: The front end runs on any device that supports a web browser. Another important goal for the CODESYS Group in the 2025 financial year is security. Certification according to IEC 27001 and TISAX will be completed by mid-year. The CODESYS development processes will be certified according to IEC 62443 by the end of the year.

The company is thus taking further important steps to strengthen the security of its products and processes–and to prove it. Photo courtesty of CODESYS. From left to right: Manfred Werner, Hilmar Panzer and Dieter Hess.
