CoDeSys Users’ Conference will also come to Italy, the Netherlands, Russia and Sweden and, for the first time, also tour through China.

January 24, 2010: The CoDeSys Users’ Conferences in Germany and Switzerland are on the automation agenda in March. The CoDeSys Users’ Conference series, first held in 2003, has become an integral part of the annual timetable of automation engineers who work with CoDeSys. Over 450 automation specialists came together last year for the seventh open CoDeSys conference held in six countries across Europe.

Apart from the German language conferences held in Herdecke and Nürtingen (Germany) and in the Swiss town of Egerkingen, this year’s CoDeSys Users’ Conference will also come to Italy, the Netherlands, Russia and Sweden and for the first time also tour through China. The conference topics address both newcomers and experienced users and will focus on conveying tips and tricks for efficient and powerful programming. In live presentations the participants will learn how to diagnose their IEC 61131-3 application, how easy it is in CoDeSys to connect a PLC application to different field buses and how the CoDeSys sampling trace is a very strong tool when it comes to debugging or commissioning an application.

Another focal topic is the optimal creation of CoDeSys libraries. The information offered is rounded-off by an accompanying CoDeSys Automation Alliance table top show. This hardware exhibition will give the participants the opportunity to directly inform themselves on different devices programmable with CoDeSys.Locations and dates of the 8th CoDeSys Users’ Conference in Germany and Switzerland:

  • 16th March 2010 in Herdecke close to Dortmund
  • 18th March 2010 in Nürtingen close to Stuttgart
  • 23rd March 2010 in Egerkingen, SwitzerlandRegistration deadline is February 26th, 2010.
