August 7, 2012 - Contec introduced FXR2000-G IEEE802.11n-compliant media converter, a small embedded device that converts from RS-232C interface to wireless or wired LAN. Its wireless LAN is compliant with four standards such as IEEE802.11n/a/b/g.
When set to IEEE802.11n, it supports 300 Mbps (theoretical value) communication, and it features resist irregular reflection (multi-pas). So it can expect to more speedy and stability communication than conventional model.
The RS-232C converter function implements TCP/IP protocol. In addition, it can control a RS-232C serial communication port with a Socket function from a computer which is connected to the internet. FXR2000-G can control RS-232C communication devices that are put on mobile object from computer without wire, and expand freely without consideration of standard communication distance, max 15 m. Customization of this product is available.
