December 7, 2010 - ConTech announces KMW Series of DC/DC converters. The KMW Series offers up to 30 Watts of fully regulated output power with an industry standard 2 x 1.6” footprint. The series offers a 4:1 input range with nominal input voltages of 24VDC and 48VDC.
Single outputs offered are 3.3, 5, 12, and 15VDC. Dual outputs are ±12 and ±15VDC. The KMW Series includes useful features such as Remote On/Off, Output Trim, and Over Temperature Protection. The operating ambient temperature range of the KMW is -40 to 50°C with no de-rating.
The non de-rated temperature range can be extended to 60C ambient with an optional heat sink. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in an anodized aluminum case for improved thermal performance in still air environments. The case also has Six-Sided Shielding. The KMW Series is UL60950 approved and RoHS compliant.
