Ottawa, ON, Canada, February 13, 2008 – Control Microsystems announced the appointment of J.L.
Betts, US SCADAWave Manager.J.L. will be responsible for the product introduction and the development of sales channels across the North America for SCADAWave, the newly released series of industrial strength series of licensed and unlicensed data radios from Control Microsystems.

Prior to MDS, he was a Systems Engineering Manager for Applied Technology Inc. His portfolio includes RF circuit board design experience for Andrew Corp, as well as an eight year tenure in the US Navy working in Naval Security as well as serving during Desert Storm.
J.L. graduated Chapman University of California in with a BS Electronics Engineering.
