COPA-DATA opens office in Princeton, NJ

Austrian HMI/SCADA company formed COPA-DATA USA and named Rainer Michelis as the Managing Director.

November 18, 2009 - COPA-DATA, a leading European independent software vendor and automation expert, continues on its course of international expansion with a newly established subsidiary, COPA-DATA USA Corporation, located in Princeton, New Jersey. COPA-DATA USA will be focused on supporting existing business partners, expanding business throughout North America, and creating greater awareness of COPA-DATA's innovative HMI/SCADA software, zenon.

COPA DATA has had a presence in the U.S. market for years now with major companies, such as Coca-Cola and BMW, choosing to zenon for their U.S. operations.

The software manufacturer recognizes the U.S. automation industry as a key market that requires local, hands-on attention that the establishment of the Princeton subsidiary will be able to offer its U.S. customers.
