CSWorks 2.1 adds support for Modbus - an application layer messaging protocol that provides client/server communication between devices connected on different types of buses and networks. Modbus has been the industry’s de-facto standard since 1979 and continues to enable millions of devices worldwide to communicate and it continues to grow in most industries. No additional software or middleware is needed to make CSWorks-powered applications talk to Modbus devices.
