July 8, 2026 — On July 1, 2026, Dacke Industri acquired 80% of the shares in Electromen Oy, a Finnish company specializing in electronic control systems for demanding automation and motion control applications.

The acquisition of Electromen is a strategic step in strengthening our position within advanced control solutions and expanding our presence in Europe. The company will become part of our Air and Mechatronics division, within Mechatronics. Its expertise in motor control systems and customized electronics will complement the group’s offering and support increased collaboration and development across the group.

With a long experience in industrial electronic engineering, Electromen specializes in the design and production of intelligent electronics control solutions for several industrial automation and motion applications.

Electromen serves a broad range of industrial customers, including automation customers and machinery manufacturers. The company has a strong international presence, with most of its sales generated across Europe. It is headquartered in Turku, Finland, employs approximately 23 people and has an annual turnover of about EUR 4 million.

“I believe this decision will give Electromen the opportunity to grow and develop for decades to come,” said Ahti Kandelin, CEO and co-owner of Electromen Oy.

"This change provides continuity for both our customers and employees," said Kai Karonen, product development director and co-owner of Electromen Oy.

“Electromen adds strong technical capabilities in intelligent electronics, complementing our existing mechatronics portfolio. The acquisition creates a solid platform for jointly developing the company and its business, accelerating growth and unlocking new opportunities for the future. We are pleased to welcome Electromen and its employees to the Dacke Industri Group,” said Mika Virtanen, president Air and Mechatronics of Dacke Industri and Chairman of Electromen Oy.
