October 6, 2011 - The Wireless Modbus Gateway connects a Deeter Wireless Sensor network to a Modbus network via an RS485 port in slave mode, coordinates the sensor network, and manages data acquisition from the sensors using the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless protocol, in the 2.4GHz ISM frequency band. The product can be used indoors or outside and is rated to IP64, has an operating temperature range of -20 0 C - 70o C and is compliant to FCC part 15.
The addition of the Modbus Gateway will facilitate the integration of Deeter Wireless Sensor Network products in new and existing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
