June 9, 2015 - DFI announces BE170, BE17, and BE173 Mini-ITX boards with AMD Embedded R-Series APUs which offer graphics performance and power efficiency for embedded systems. The AMD R-Series APUs feature AMD Radeon HD9000 Graphics technology providing ultra-immersive HD multimedia interactivity, and delivering up to 55% more 3D graphics performance than previous-generation AMD R-Series APUs.
The BE170 Series are also equipped with 4 DP ports (resolution up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz per port) allowing 4 independent displays simultaneously. Additionally, these three boards support I/O interfaces including 9 USB ports, 4 SATA 3.0 ports, 4 COM ports, and 8-bit Digital I/O connector for device controls. BE170, BE171 and BE173, the Mini-ITX boards with expansive features, are ideally suited to use in graphics and compute-intensive applications.
