June 8, 2016 - DFI joined Microsoft Azure Certified for Internet of Things (IoT), offering customers IoT solutions with hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure IoT services. Microsoft Azure IoT is an integrated tool to manage IoT applications which include cloud data storage, security system, and platform services. The EC700 series is DFI’s latest system for IoT gateway solutions with Microsoft Azure Certification to provide various services for customers. DFI’s EC700 fanless embedded systems come with Intel® Atom™ E3800 processor, which is packed with extensive I/O capabilities. To ensure efficient communication, the EC700 series supports Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, and GPRS applications via mini PCIe slots.
In addition, the EC700 series is equipped with SIM card socket and Wi-Fi antenna holes for usage in environments that require wireless connectivity.
