e-Magic announces joining of Digital Twin Consortium
Digital Twin Consortium is a global ecosystem of users who are accelerating the digital twin market and demonstrating the value of digital twin technology.

June 4, 2020 - e-Magic Inc., a provider of software for design, development, and integration of large scale industrial IoT systems globally and digital twin services, has joined Digital Twin Consortium at the Groundbreaker level. Digital Twin Consortium is a global ecosystem of users who are accelerating the digital twin market and demonstrating the value of digital twin technology. Digital Twin Consortium was formed by non-profit trade association Object Management Group with Ansys, Dell, Lendlease, and Microsoft. It coalesces industry, government and academia to drive consistency in vocabulary, architecture, security and interoperability of digital twin technology.

Additionally, it advances the use of digital twin technology from aerospace to natural resources. The Digital Twin Consortium is committed to using digital twins throughout their operations and supply chains and capturing best practices and standards requirements for themselves and their clients. e-Magic’s digital twin offering TwinWorX, integrates facility telemetry into a Digital Twin that allows monitoring, controlling, visualizing and optimizing of assets. TwinWorX features over 500 system and equipment connectors, a 3D facility and asset visualizer and a customizable analytics engine that detects issues, raises alerts and predicts operational states using Azure-machine learning.

e-Magic will help set de facto technical guidelines and taxonomies, publish reference frameworks, develop requirements for new standards and share use cases to maximize the benefits of digital twins.
