June 15, 2016 – E-T-A Circuit Breakers announced the availability of the SMP single and three-phase switch-mode power supplies. The addition of the SMPs to the product offering allows E-T-A to offer customers a single source for their 24 VDC control system that includes:
- Switch-mode power supply (SMP)
- Power circuit protection (4230-T)
- Control circuit protection (ESX10, ESX10-T, ESS30& ESS31-T)
The DIN Rail mountable SMP switch-mode power supplies are available in 5 A, 10 A, 20 A and 40 A current ratings and 24 VDC operating voltage. This corresponds to the power classes 120 W, 240 W, 480 W and 960 W. The devices have an efficiency factor of up to 93%, are designed for a maximum ambient temperature of 70° C.
E-T-A’s SMP switch-mode power supplies carry EN 60950-1 approval and are UL508 Listed and UL60950-1 recognized making them the ideal solution for all 24 VDC industrial applications in North America and Europe.
