May 1, 2013 - Eaton announced ATS contactor-based automatic transfer switch that provides monitoring, reporting, and transfer control operations. The 1600-ampere bypass isolation contactor is equipped with dual ATS technology. The bypass isolation contact switch supports concurrent maintainability through automatic control in the bypass mode for mission critical applications. Automatic transfer switches are critical components to any emergency or standby power systems. Eaton transfer switches are reliable, rugged, and versatile assemblies for transferring essential loads and electrical distribution systems from one power source to another and qualify for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) credits.
