Eaton introduces Group 2 gear pumps

Group 2 Global Gear Pumps (GGPs) are smaller and quieter than previous models, and operate at 280 bar continuous pressure.

BADEN-BADEN, Germany - Eaton Corporation announces Group 2 Global Gear Pumps (GGPs). The new pumps satisfy global demand for gear pumps that are smaller, quieter, competitively priced, and, most importantly, operate at 280 bar continuous pressure. Eaton "Group 2" GGPs will be available in two families:

  • AEG Aluminium Series-Floating bushing, pressure-balanced design with a high-strength extruded aluminum body and cast iron end cap and mounting flange
  • AEK Cast Iron Series-Fixed bushings, pressure-balanced design with a high-strength cast iron construction throughout The first release and available now are the Aluminium pumps.
  • high-efficiency gear profile
  • 12-tooth, low-noise and low-pressure ripple gear design
  • SAE, DIN and ISO flanges, shafts and ports.
  • standard European rectangular mounting flanges Eaton GGPs are suitable for numerous applications including turf care, agricultural tractors and harvesters, lift trucks, skid-steer loaders, salt and sand spreaders, general industrial applications and power packs."

The all cast iron version will be available shortly.

New Eaton GGPs offer numerous sought-after features such as:
