July 12, 2011 - Edmund Optics introduces High Dynamic Range Cameras. These cameras provide excellent images from the Visible to the NIR for a wide variety of challenging applications. High Dynamic Range Cameras have a dynamic range of 120 dB, which allows for a vast array of lighting levels. These cameras are an ideal choice for applications with bright backlight portions, rapidly changing light levels and in particular, on reflective parts that produce hot spots that can bloom the camera sensor. Featuring 50 fps for fast image capture, they provide precise, sharp images from the Visible to the NIR.

For convenience and ease of use, High Dynamic Range Cameras are available with USB and GigE Interface Options. A power supply and cable are required for both USB and GigE options, sold separately. High Dynamic Range Cameras are in-stock and available for immediate delivery for fast turnaround and excellent value.
