EGE announces KGFT-CER Level sensors

26 June, 2011
Manufactured from 1.4571 stainless steel and ceramic, KGFT-CER IP68 sensors are steam proof and can therefore undergo sterilization processes.

June 26, 2011 - Level sensors from EGE's KGFT-CER series ensure that fill levels are reliably monitored even in environments with high pressures and high temperatures: they withstand pressures of up to 30 bar at 140 °C, and up to 15 bar at 200 °C. Manufactured from 1.4571 stainless steel and a special ceramic, the IP68 sensors are steam proof and can therefore undergo sterilization processes, which are required in medical technology and many pharmaceutical and food applications.

Thanks to their compact design with a length of merely 45 mm, they are suitable for small containers, unlike vibrating fork sensors which are often used in such environments. KGFT-CER sensors are operated with a KK 030 or KU 120 amplifier unit, which allows for easy adjustment to the medium.
