January 13, 2010 - EGS, part of Emerson Industrial Automation, has named John Hargis Western Region Director with responsibility for the Southwest United States for all EGS brands, including SolaHD, Appleton and O-Z/Gedney. Hargis is transitioning from Director of Sales for SolaHD, a position he held since late 2007. He joined EGS as a Region Manager for SolaHD in Texas in 2004. In his new role Mr. Hargis will be leading the transition from a direct sales force to a hybrid (representative and direct) sales team in southern California.
He will also be covering Northern California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii. As Mr. Hargis moves out of his role as Director of Sales for SolaHD, Vice President of Sales Tom Pankratz will assume day-to-day sales leadership of SolaHD, with U.S. SolaHD Region Managers now reporting to him.
