August 23, 2011 – Tulsa-based eLynx Technologies announced the opening of an office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is the first international office for eLynx Technologies. “The Calgary office will help us better support our expanding customer base throughout Canada and provide a solid platform for growth,” said John Powers, Chief Operating Officer for eLynx. “eLynx has proven oil and gas expertise and is excited to bring a slightly different strategy and business model to the Canadian producer community.” Canadian native Gary Tootle has joined eLynx Technologies and will be heading the sales/business development office in Calgary.
Gary has over 35 years of wide range communications experience including antenna manufacturing that specializes in SCADA applications. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Gary has spent the last 14 years in Calgary where he resides with his wife and three sons. Since 2000, eLynx Technologies has provided real-time data collection, production reporting, trending, well monitoring and control via the Internet for the oil and gas industry. The company services more than 300 exploration and production companies and operates in more than 25 US states. Headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, eLynx has support offices throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, North Dakota, West Virginia and now Alberta, Canada, covering all major basins in North America.
