Alliance offers pre-engineered services for integrating process and facility management systems for required compliance management
AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 23, 2004) — Emerson Process Management and Andover Control’s System Integration Services (SIS) Group have formed an alliance aimed at extending both companies' automation technology and service offerings in the pharmaceutical and life science industries. This alliance will jointly pursue FDA-regulated automation business worldwide that requires an integrated approach to validation of process and facility management systems (HVAC). SIS will provide the implementation services and application knowledge for facilities automation (HVAC), and Emerson will provide the automation platform for advanced process automation and compliance applications.
The alliance participants will integrate process and facility information to help manufacturers reduce product cycle times, realize cost savings and comply with cGxP practices.Emerson will combine its pharmaceutical industry expertise, engineering resources and project management capabilities, as well as its PlantWeb® digital plant architecture, with SIS's 20+ years expertise and knowledge base to provide mission critical environmental control service solutions to the regulated industries. The companies will jointly develop and implement pre-engineered solutions to apply Emerson's DeltaV™ digital automation system for integrated facility-wide automation."
