The venture combines the strengths of the individual companies to address the critical project development needs of this emerging marketplace that convert low-value materials such as municipal solid waste, chemical waste, hazardous materials and other industrial wastes into syngas or other high-value energy products. Worldwide gasification capacity is projected to grow 70 percent by 2015, according to the Gasification Technologies Council.
