AUSTIN, TEXAS - June 11, 2007 - Emerson Process Management, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), has opened two technology centers in Tianjin, China, to help meet the rising demand for control-valve and valve-automation products for the growing process manufacturing industry in the Asia Pacific region. The new centers feature one of the most advanced flow laboratories in operation today. Here, Emerson research and product design engineers will investigate valve technologies and verify valve-performance capabilities.On-site Emerson application engineers, who specialize in process control, will aid Asia Pacific industries by recommending valve and instrument products to meet a wide variety of flow-control requirements.

The 12,000-square-meter Emerson campus, within the Wuqing development area in Tianjin, also includes a manufacturing facility, which features rapid-response manufacturing as well as after-market support services.Emerson's FAST PartsT program provides quick delivery of replacement components throughout the Asia Pacific region and supports plant start-up, control-valve diagnostics, repairs, and outages.The Emerson Center in Tianjin provides FisherR, BettisR, and other world-leading control-valve and valve-automation brand products to a wide range of process industries.
