After a four-year break, the world's leading trade fair for production technology will be opening its doors again in Germany in 2023. The new concept, new claim, new exhibition area, new formats and key topics of the new-look event will bring a breath of fresh air to the industry. "We have been working very hard over the past few weeks and months to develop the fair, while taking into account the changed circumstances following the pandemic," said EMO General Commissioner Carl Martin Welcker. "The German EMO organizing team of the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association ) in Frankfurt am Main, is thrilled that things are finally getting underway again and that so many ideas are now being put into action," Welcker continued.
Some first impressions can be viewed on the new website. The claim of EMO Hannover is Innovate Manufacturing. This is aimed at industry, the exhibitors and visitors, and EMO Hannover itself. All are facing major challenges and must constantly reinvent themselves if they are to survive in the international competition. The Future Insights– Future of Business , Future of Connectivity and Future of Sustainability in Production –are three fields that are currently dominating the business, political and social discussion in most industrialized countries.
Production technology is helping to put forward solutions in all three fields. EMO Hannover will show everyone how. "At no other event in the world does the international production technology community–both the manufacturer and user sides–come together as cohesively as at EMO Hannover. And what better place is there to discuss and showcase the latest trends, challenges, and solutions then here?" said Welcker, explaining the industry’s view.
