November 4, 2019 – Endress+Hauser launches its iTEMP TMT71 and TMT72 single-channel transmitters with wireless communication via Bluetooth.

The transmitters are available with an integrated Bluetooth interface that enables users to wirelessly display measured values and perform configuration tasks. The device is operated using Endress+Hauser’s SmartBlue app. Access to the device is password-protected and the Endress+Hauser security concept for Bluetooth communication complies with the highest safety standards. The device can be configured without the need to previously install device drivers, since they are already stored in the transmitter's electronics.

The configurable transmitters are compatible with signals from resistance sensors (RTD), thermocouples, resistance (Ω) and voltage transmitters (mV) and provide an output via the 4 to 20 mA signal or the HART 7 communication (TMT72).

Integrated sensor monitoring functions, device troubleshooting and diagnostic information in accordance with NAMUR NE 107, allow for measuring point availability. The transmitter sensor’s temperature measurement is increased for the entire system as it matches calendar-Van-Dusen coefficients. iTEMP TMT71 and TMT72 temperature transmitters are also designed for safe operation in hazardous areas thanks to international approvals (ATEX, CSA C/US, IECEx).

The transmitters are available in various housing versions, either with or without a display. A user can select the housing that best fits their application, environment and process conditions.
