Built to meet MIL-STD-810H standards, these rugged devices combine reliability with flexibility for demanding environments.

TWINSBURG, Ohio, June 15 2026 — The new Tab-IND series by Pepperl+Fuchs delivers durable, customizable tablets designed for intralogistics, manufacturing, automotive and outdoor use. Built to meet MIL-STD-810H standards, these rugged devices combine reliability with flexibility for demanding environments.

Available in 8-inch Windows-only and 10-inch models with Windows or Android, Tab-IND tablets can be configured to fit specific applications.

Tablets designed for today’s industrial worker

Tab-IND tablets are built with day-to-day industrial tasks in mind. Each device can be customized to specific needs, from hardware features to accessories, through a build-to-order approach.

Key features include:

  • Bright, easy-to-read displays (700–800 cd/m²), usable with gloves or a stylus
  • 13 MP camera for documentation and inspections
  • Wide operating temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C
  • Slim, rugged design suitable for both indoor and outdoor use

Reliable connectivity and built-in security

Field and plant workers can stay connected and secure across operations. Tab-IND devices support the latest communication standards, such as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 BLE. Security features built in include a fingerprint sensor for fast login and a front-facing NFC reader for non-contact data transfer and secure access control.

Ready for logistics and warehouse operations

Tab-IND tablets can be expanded with accessories to handle logistics tasks efficiently:

  • A scanner frame enables professional-grade barcode scanning, picking and tracking.
  • The SmartBack interface supports add-ons like extra batteries or mounting options such as VESA mounts and more
  • Custom modules (e.g., Industrial Ethernet or IO-Link) can be integrated as needed

An optional IO dock lets the user switch between mobile and desktop use, connecting to external devices and displays when required.

Reliable long-term support

Pepperl+Fuchs designed the Tab-IND tablets with industrial life cycle needs in mind. This means a minimum of 5 years availability, regular software updates and local-language service and support. For companies operating across standard and hazardous environments, sourcing devices from a single supplier simplifies deployment and maintenance.

Tab-IND key benefits at a glance:

  • Rugged tablets (MIL-STD-810H) for industrial and outdoor use
  • Available in 8" (Windows only) and 10" with Windows or Android
  • Full connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3
