ANN ARBOR, MI - JANUARY 23, 2003 Entivity, Inc. the leading supplier of PC-based automation and control software has released the next generation of its Think & Do Live! product. Think & Do Live! 5.5 software builds on the strong and proven framework of Live! 5.4, and has added a number of enhancements and features improving performance and usability.

Some of the key new features include Windows XP support, additions to the already large collection of drivers, and a number of improvements to the widely used debugging tool, AppTracker. Live! 5.5 introduces support for additional devices from Automationdirect.com, including the EZ-Text/Touch panels, the T1K-CTRIO, the H4-CTRIO, and the Ethernet Remote Master (ERM). Entivity has also added support for the Interbus network, which contains functionality using Phoenix Contact's PCP commands.

In addition, Live! 5.5 includes a Modbus Master driver for the already existing serial driver and a Modbus Master TCP driver. Live! 5.5 reduces development and debug times. Improvements to AppTracker let users cross reference data items and persistently change the preset value of a timer data item.

In addition, users can launch the debugger even if the project is out of sync and lock program logic, preventing project synchronization issues. "Customer feedback played an enormous role in the development of Live! 5.5. We took their input and integrated it into the latest version of the most widely sold PC Control package on the market today," said Jeff Fisher, Vice President of Sales and Support for Entivity. "Entivity customers are happy with the performance of the Live!

product, and now they can benefit from our latest features while implementing today's technology." About EntivityEntivity products and services address project collaboration, automation software solutions, asset utilization and information connectivity throughout extended manufacturing enterprises.
