June 13, 2013 - ETAP is opening a regional office in Houston, Texas in response to strong, sustained international interest in ETAP products from the oil and gas sector. The new Houston office will focus principally on ETAP Real-Time power management system solutions, and also serve as a "Center of Excellence" for the energy sector, by offering specialized competencies for the on-line power management needs of that industry. Oil and gas is one of ETAP’s primary markets, with the U.S. gulf coast region serving as home to a large and growing base of customers.

It will be staffed by experienced power electrical engineers from the company’s headquarter office in Irvine, Calif. combined with initial hires from the Houston area.
