EtherCAT appoints Luke Lecheler Communications Coordinator

AUSTIN, TX, January 24, 2008 – The EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG), appointed Luke Lecheler Communications Coordinator for the organization’s North American activities. Lecheler will assist the ETG in the areas of media relations, organization news, technical seminars and trade shows. With over 600 member companies from around the world, the ETG includes many of the largest and most influential North American companies in the industrial device, software, machine building and manufacturing industries.Lecheler joins the EtherCAT Technology Group with years of communications experience with the next generation Ethernet-based fieldbus as well as many other industrial automation technologies.

Prior to joining the ETG, Lecheler worked at Beckhoff Automation where he assisted in marketing communications, documentation and technical writing in the areas of automation, I/O, PC-based control, PLCs and motion control. “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Luke into the EtherCAT Technology Group,” said Joey Stubbs, North American Representative, EtherCAT Technology Group. “Luke’s communications and writing experience in a wide range of industrial topics will be put to immediate use at the ETG.
