September 19, 2011 – eWON adds “Plug’n Route” functionality for its industrial routers. This allows machine builders, system integrators and automation engineers to enjoy faster and easier on-site configuration while eliminating the associated IT difficulties. The “Plug and Route” feature aims at simplifying the configuration steps to access Ethernet devices – PLC, HMI or IP camera- on a Machine LAN network through Talk2M. It is indeed no more needed to reconfigure the device to define the eWON router as default gateway. On practical ways, it is no more needed to stop the PLCs, eliminating therefore the need also to stop the associated machine.

The “Plug’n Route” allows all IP traffic to be conveyed and forwarded to its final destination on the remote Machine LAN network, making eWON a transparent access to a remote Ethernet devices.
